When Apple Silicon Mac was first announced at the WWDC keynote on June 22 this year, Apple demonstrated a prototype Parallels Desktop for Mac running a Linux virtual machine flawlessly on Apple Silicon. Note that currently available Parallels Desktop versions cannot run virtual machines on Macs with the Apple M1 chip.īut the company went further and confirmed that an M1 version is on the way.Ī new version of Parallels Desktop for Mac that can run on Mac with the Apple M1 chip is already in development.

Corel has confirmed that the company is using Mac Parallels M1 support by announcing an update with full Big Sur support on Intel Macs.
